One of Han So-hee’s earlier projects, 100 Days My Prince follows a crown prince, Lee Yool, portrayed by

EXO’s D.O., who loses his memory and mysteriously disappears for 100 days. Han So-hee plays the role of

Lee Yool’s wife and crowned princess, Kim So Hye. Kim So Hye might be a side character in the drama,

but she does a fantastic job of portraying the poor crown princess who is stuck in a loveless marriage. So

Hye is merely a pawn in the wider political game, and she’s well aware of it. It’s already sad to see her as a

prisoner in her own house, but her tragic love story with guard Moo Yeon is absolutely heart-shattering.

One can’t help but wonder if she’d be a different person had she been given the power to make her

choices in life.

The World of the Married (2020)

Happy endings with soft romantic moments are not something to expect when watching The World of

the Married. In fact, betrayal and dysfunction are better words to associate with drama. All the characters

in the show are morally grey and suspicious. They are all tangled up in webs of betrayal and extramarital

affairs. Han So-hee portrays pilates instructor, Yeo Da Kyung, the other woman with whom Lee Tae Oh

cheats on his wife. It’s not always easy to portray dislikable characters yet Han So-hee does a fantastic job

at it. From the smug smirk to the disdainful sneer, Han So-Hee knows exactly what’s needed to ensure

she gets on at least a few nerves. What makes this role truly remarkable is the fact that even though Da

Kyung’s character is so hateful, one can’t help but feel sympathetic for her at times. It’s particularly hard

to hate her when Han So-Hee is portraying all the raw and vulnerable emotions through her acting skills.

Soundtrack 1 (2022)

Soundtrack 1 is one of Han So-Hee’s more recent projects. Soundtrack 1 is a short, sweet friends-to-

lovers type of drama that one can’t help but enjoy. The story itself is pretty simple and sweet, and the

great cast is the icing on top. Han So-Hee’s Eun Soo is a forthright person, who is honest about what she

wants. Well, most of the time. She’s lively and makes a living as a lyricist. It’s adorable watching Eun Soo

pine over her best friend and rookie photographer Sun Woo. The wholesome moments between the two

actors are absolutely adorable. In the short, four-episode drama, Han So Hee ensures that the audience is

invested in the romance between the two best friends. One can’t help but melt when the two characters

eventually do end up together. In addition, for those who thought that four episodes were not enough,

there are quite some adorable off-screen moments between the cast that are worth watching.

Nevertheless (2021)

Han So-Hee’s fame really sky-rocketed with her role as Yoo Nabi in Nevertheless. The drama follows Nabi,

who has recently gotten out of a toxic relationship and ends up falling for Park Jae Eon, portrayed by

Song Kang. Jae Eon is charming yet indifferent to everyone around him. Despite stating that he does not

want to pursue a romantic relationship, Jae Eon ends up in a complicated no-label relationship with Nabi.

Han So-hee is able to portray Nabi with an interesting depth. Initially, the audience is able to see her as a

heartbroken young adult who has just gotten out of a difficult relationship. There are points when the

audience might even relate to Nabi, when she makes impulsive decisions that she knows might not be the

best for her but can’t help herself. Other times, one can’t help but be proud of Nabi for taking a step

back, and making the right decision to protect her own mental health. It’s fascinating to see Han So-Hee

depict Nabi’s dilemma so well. It has been labeled as a masterpiece internationally.

Perhaps one of Han So-Hee’s best performances is her role in My Name. The storyline and the character

in this show are both different from all the other roles that Han So-Hee has done thus far. The crime

drama, with its noir-esque atmosphere, is slick, gritty, and does not shy away from displays of blood and

violence. The storyline follows Han So-Hee as Yoon Ji Woo/Oh Hye Jin, who seeks to avenge the murder

of her father. My Name does well to keep the audience second-guessing the characters and their

intentions. The pacing of the show is done well with surprising twists and action sequences.

Conclusion

Han So-hee’s journey in the world of film has been nothing short of remarkable. From her early

beginnings to her current successes, she has captivated audiences with her exceptional talent and ability

to immerse herself in diverse roles. Through this comprehensive exploration of her filmography, we have

witnessed the growth and evolution of a true acting powerhouse. With each new project, Han So-hee
