Netflix is collaborating with Robert Rodriguez to reboot the Spy Kids franchise with Spy Kids: Armageddon Netflix Movie, focusing on a new spy family. Rodriguez will write, produce, and direct, much like the first four Spy Kids movies. The Cast And Crew:
There have been two waves of casting announcements so far for the upcoming Netflix Spy Kids film.
Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin, LOST OLLIE), Zachary Levi (Shazam!, Chuck), Everly Carganilla (Yes Day),
and Connor Esterson were among the first cast members to be revealed in June 2022.
Billy Magnussen will appear, it was confirmed in July 2022.
Both D.J. Cotrona (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and Neal Kodinsky (1883), who will play the villain Vargos, are
anticipated to appear in the film.
The Plot:
The movie’s plot information is quite scant, however we do have a brief logline:
“A relaunch a classic family franchise which will revolve around the activities of a multicultural family. Tony and Patty must use all their gaming skills to save their spy parents who have been kidnapped by an evil man.”

When questioned by People.com if the new film has any connections to Netflix’s We Can Be Heroes,
director Rodriguez declined to answer, adding that it was “top secret.”

According to reports, filming began in Austin, Texas, around the middle of June 2022.
Robert Rodriguez announced on Instagram on August 31 that the new film has been finished.
The film’s director and screenwriter were quoted in the article as saying:
