installment in the contemporary Planets of the Apes trilogy. A new despotic ape has started to construct

his empire, and as a young ape embarks on a new trip, he later discovers that his choices will influence

the destiny of apes and humans. Apes have now emerged as the dominant species, with humans lurking

in the shadows.

Owen Teague, Kevin Durand, Freya Allen, William H. Macy, and Peter Macon are among the film’s cast

members. The film is directed by Wes Ball and is based on a screenplay by Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa,

Amanda Silver, and Patrick Aison. It was produced by Jaffa, Silver, Jo Hartwick Jr., and Jason Reed, with

executive producers Jenno Topping and Peter Chernin Filming was completed earlier this year in

February, having started in Sydney in October 2022. Based on a Pierre Boulle novel, the franchise has

made over $1.7 billion USD at the box office worldwide. Six films were released in the original series

between 1968 and 2001. Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the first movie in the reboot series, was released

in 2011.
