Song Kang returns as Cha Hyun-soo in Netflix’s hit apocalyptic thriller “Sweet Home” Season 2. Several years after the first season, the chaos in the tenant building has escalated into a global catastrophe. The series initially focused on Hyun-soo, who moved to a new building after losing his family. When people turn into monsters based on their inner desires, he battles his own demons, retaining their powers while keeping his humanity. “Sweet Home” became a massive success, with Netflix announcing Season 2 and Season 3. Season 2 is set to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Sweet Home Season 2: Release date
The second season will debut on Friday, December 1, 2023, according to a statement
from Netflix. On November 1, 2023, the release date was officially announced after its May Upfronts
presentation. This follows the first season’s successful release on the streaming platform in December
2020.

The Cast And Crew
Along with Song Kang, Lee Jin-uk, Lee Si-young, Ko Min-si, and Park Gyu-young, Yoo Oh-seong, Oh
Jung-se, Kim Mu-yeol, and Jin-young, the main cast of Sweet Home season 2, were also unveiled at
TUDUM.
The Plot
Netflix released the second season of Sweet Home in early 2023, and it looks like an exciting continuation
of the show. Season 2 follows Green Home survivors and Hyun-su fighting to survive in new places,
while other beings and mysterious phenomena emerge,” the storyline reads.
Characters who previously engaged in potentially fatal fights with their metamorphosed neighbours will
make a comeback this season.
Sweet Home Season 2: Filming
Season 2 was officially renewed by Netflix in June 2022, and filming wrapped up in the
spring of 2023. Fans got a brief glimpse of the upcoming season during TUDUM 2023. Additionally, a
third season of Sweet Home has been confirmed by Netflix.
