The development of the highly anticipated blockbuster Badland Hunters, starring Don Lee—the legendary actor known for his parts in classic films like Marvel’s Eternals, The Roundup, and Train to Busan—has been given the go-ahead by Netflix. “Badland Hunters,” a forthcoming dystopian action film from South Korea, is produced by Byung Seung-min, co-written by Kwak Jae-min and Kim Bo-tong, and directed by Heo Hyeong Haeng. Big Punch Entertainment, Nova Film, and Climax Studios are collaborating on it.

“Badland Hunters,” which Netflix has recently revealed, could take some time to view. A more reasonable
release date would be in the second half of 2025, while an ambitious prediction would have it available on
Netflix by the end of 2024.

The Cast And Crew
Renowned actor Don Lee, who starred in the MCU’s “Eternals” and “Train to Busan,” plays Nam-san. His
appearances in films like as “The Outlaws,” “Veteran,” and “Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds” have
made him a well-known figure in Korean cinema.
Yang Gi-su is portrayed by Lee Hee Jun, who has previously made guest and supporting appearances on
Netflix in shows including “Behind Every Star” and “Vincenzo.” He will play a major part in the soon-to-be
Netflix film.
Choi Ji-wan is played by Lee Jun-young, who most recently made cameo appearances on television
series Mask Girl and D.P. Additionally, he is scheduled to have a supporting role in the K-drama “You Have
Done Well.”
Roh Jeong Eui is part of the cast in an undisclosed role, recognized by Netflix viewers for her role as NJ in
“Our Beloved Summer.” She’s also had leading roles in K-dramas, such as “The Great Show,” “Kill It,” and
“Thunder Store.”
The Plot
Following a huge earthquake, “Badland Hunters” is set in a post-apocalyptic Seoul. Don Lee portrays the
tenacious wasteland hunter Nam-san, who is accompanied by Lee Hee Jun, who plays the survivor Yang
Gi-su, and Lee Jun-young, who plays Nam-san’s dependable ally, Choi Ji-wan. The narrative takes place in
a dystopian future when relationships are erratic, survival is a luxury, and people’s ability to withstand
Adversity is put to the test.
