and Sydney Elizabeth Agudong portraying her older sister, Nani. Other notable cast members include
Kaipo Duidot as David Kawena, Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles, Billy Magnussen as Pleakley, Zach
Galifianakis as Jumba, and Amy Hill in the role of a new character named Tūtū. Chris Sanders, the
original film’s writer and voice, Stitch, will reprise his role as the voice of Experiment 626. Additionally,
Tia Carrere, who voiced Nani in the original, will play a new character named Mrs. Kekoa. The ensemble

Creators of ‘Lilo & Stich’ Movie 2024?
Dean Fleischer Camp, known for the live-action/CGI-animation hybrid “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On”
and its Oscar-nominated Best Animated Feature, leads the direction of the Lilo & Stitch live-action
remake. The screenplay is in the capable hands of co-writers Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van
Waes. The crew also includes production designer Todd Cherniawsky (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and costume
designer Mary Claire Hannan (The Fault in Our Stars). While Jon M. Chu was initially reported as the
director, he has since left the production to focus on other projects. With this talented team, the remake is
