The follow-up television series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, which premieres on Netflix next year, has been revealed. The proposed television series is a prequel to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which was the second part of a trilogy that followed the events of the first three Jurassic Park films.

The logline for the series states, “Chaos Theory is coming to Netflix in 2024. After the park has closed and the kingdom has fallen, a new era of chaos begins.” The trailer for the programme features a clip of the famous Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Although specific details about the plot and casting for the upcoming Jurassic World project remain scarce, it has been confirmed that Paul-Mikél Williams will be reprising his role as Darius Bowman from the animated spin-off Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, developed by Netflix.

The Jurassic World film trilogy concluded last year with Dominion. However, producer Frank Marshall hinted at the studio’s continued interest in the prehistoric creatures, stating, “I think that Dominion’s going to wrap up this trilogy, but we’re not resting on our laurels. We’re going to sit down and see whatthe future holds. We have the wonderful series, Camp Cretaceous, on Netflix.”
