Rebel Moon came from a Star Wars pitch that Snyder had originally taken to Lucasfilm, and he has big cross-media plans for the concept. That of course includes sequels, so Part Two is already slotted for an April 2024 release. Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Michiel Huisman, Djimon Hounsou, and Anthony Hopkins star in the story of a ruthless empire that must be defeated by a mysterious outsider.

The Plot
Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver picks up with the insurgency led by Kora facing off against the tyrannical regime of Balisarius. Rebel Moon: Part Two Production
Ed Skrein, part of the cast, revealed Zack Snyder sought inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk for Part Two, aiming for an epic scale. The first film focused on recruitment, while the second promises intense combat and aftermath. The actors, Snyder, and the entire team aim to create a gripping narrative in line with Nolan’s impactful storytelling.
