In Star Trek: Discovery’s fourth season, the crew confronts the Dark Matter Entity, a planet-destroying threat. They race against time to stop it and uncover its origins with the advanced alien race, Species 10-C. Allies become adversaries as Book seeks revenge for his planet’s destruction. In the finale, the crew achieves victory and makes first contact with the creators of the DMA. Book faces consequences for his actions, aiding in repairing the damage caused.

It’s been confirmed that the fifth and final season will premiere with two episodes on Paramount + on April 4, 2024. The first two episodes will be in the US, the UK, and Canada. The entire season has a total of 10 episodes, with new episodes premiering every Thursday.
Star Trek: Discovery, as with the other current Star Trek series, is streaming on Paramount+, making it easy to catch up if you’re a newer fan of the series or to just do a quick rewatch to refresh your memory if it’s been a while since you’ve seen the series. When the fifth season releases later this year, it will also be released on Paramount+.
