The Wild Robot Trailer: Lupita Nyong'o Is stranded in the wilderness

Dreamworks Animation is making waves with the upcoming release of “Kung Fu Panda 4” and the unveiling of the trailer for “The Wild Robot.” Featuring the voices of Lupita Nyong’o and Pedro Pascal, the film promises stunning animation and a heartwarming story based on the bestselling book by Peter Brown. Directed by Chris Sanders, known for classics like “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Lilo & Stitch,” this 2D/3D hybrid animation film is set to captivate audiences when it hits theaters on September 20.

The Wild Robot Trailer:

The past few years have been difficult for Dreamworks Animation, with a run of successful films like Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and The Bad Guys mixed in with some box office busts like Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken, which debuted last summer. But with the critically acclaimed Netflix release of Orion and the Dark, 2024 has already shown to be a step in the right direction. The Wild Robot, which has another highly regarded director directing movie, may follow in the same footsteps. With little competition when it opens in theaters in September, Dreamworks may finally have another non-franchise smash later this year.
