Dreamworks Animation is making waves with the upcoming release of “Kung Fu Panda 4” and the unveiling of the trailer for “The Wild Robot.” Featuring the voices of Lupita Nyong’o and Pedro Pascal, the film promises stunning animation and a heartwarming story based on the bestselling book by Peter Brown. The Wild Robot, which has another highly regarded director directing movie, may follow in the same footsteps. With little competition when it opens in theaters in September, Dreamworks may finally have another non-franchise smash later this year.

The Plot
The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot—ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short—that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.
