Details about the plot of season 3 have been revealed, and they suggest it will be the biggest season yet. The season will see the Russian mob make inroads in Kingstown as a series of deadly explosions puts everyone on edge. Mike will find himself under increasing pressure as he tries to keep the peace while also tying up loose ends from his own checkered past.

In another unresolved thread, season 2 ended with Mike’s old friend and rival, Milo, faking his death in a boat explosion. This allows him to go behind the scenes and start to mess with Mike in a new and creative manner. Other than that detail, there is no telling where the Mayor of Kingstown season 3 story will go or how much it will rely on the prison now that Milo is out.

The director

Taylor Sheridan, creator of “Mayor of Kingstown” alongside Hugh Dillon, continues his success on Paramount+ after the hit “Yellowstone” and its spinoffs. Sheridan also co-created “Tulsa King,” featuring Sylvester Stallone, for the same platform. Hugh Dillon, previously seen in “Yellowstone” as Sheriff Donnie Haskell, collaborates with Sheridan once again in “Mayor of Kingstown.”

Season 3 Everything We Know

Natasha Marc, an original cast member from season 1, will return as Cherry in “season 3”, likely playing a significant role in the drug war storyline. Although details on the extent of her involvement remain undisclosed, it’s expected to be more substantial than her previous one-episode appearance. The renewal for season 3 was unofficially confirmed after Paramount+ decided to move forward, delayed partly due to Jeremy Renner’s recovery from a life-threatening injury. Despite setbacks like the Hollywood strikes, production has resumed for the series.
