When the science fiction/western drama initially aired, there was cause for concern due to the enigmatic hole located at the core of Amazon’s Outer Range. However, Outer Range 2 trailer teases time travel, family conflict for Josh Brolin’s most recent season 2 teaser suggests that the yawning chasm might end up being the answer to every want the Abbott family has ever had.

As the first season of Outer Range drew to a close, Josh Brolin’s character Royal Abbott learned more about the bottomless hole on his property and realized that, despite its scary nature, it might be able to help him mend his broken family. Outer Range is very much a show about family, and not just Royal’s. Season 1 situated him in opposition to rival rancher Wayne Tillerson (Will Patton) and his own offspring.
