The first trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal’s judicial thriller series Presumed Innocent has been made available on Apple TV+. Rusty Sabich, played by Gyllenhaal, opens the clip with the words, “Love isn’t what people tell you that it is.” It’s just something that grows, in my experience. You don’t realize how much you need someone until one day. It’s the start of a sultry relationship that leaves Gyllenhaal’s Rusty appearing like a murder suspect. Is he, though?
Wednesday, June 12 marks the premiere of David E. Kelley and J.J. Abrams’ film Presumed Innocent.
