The series wouldn’t be complete without the incredibly talented Jeremy Allen White (The Iron Claw) returning as the lead, alongside Ayo Edebiri (Bottoms) as Sydney. White is also set to star in a Bruce Springsteen biopic, and Edebiri will voice Envy in Inside Out 2.

Season 3 will see the return of Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher) as Richie, Abby Elliott (Indebted) as Natalie, Lionel Boyce (The Jellies) as Marcus, Liza Colón-Zayas (IF) as Tina, Matty Matheson (Craig of the Creek) as Neil, and Oliver Platt (Fargo) as Uncle Jimmy. A fan video suggests Will Poulter (We’re the Millers), who cameoed in Season 2, will be back, and Olivia Coleman (Wonka), also seen filming with Allen White, seems to be returning as well.

Season 3: Plot

There’s no official synopsis yet for Season 3 of The Bear, but clues from the Season 2 finale and a leaked clip from a Disney shareholders meeting offer some insights. Set in a post-pandemic world, the show will tackle the financial struggles facing the food and hospitality industry. Leaked footage shows the cast at a funeral, likely for Marcus’s mother, whose health declined in Season 2.

Jeremy Allen White has expressed a desire for Carmy to find happiness in Season 3, but with ongoing business challenges, it seems tragedy might loom. Reports suggest that both Seasons 3 and 4 were filmed back to back, although FX has not officially announced Season 4.

‘The Bear’ Season 3: Trailer

On May 9, 2024, a teaser for Season 3 of The Bear was published, which can be seen above. Although this teaser provides no specific plot information, the dramatic score and the decision to leave Carmy alone in the restaurant as the camera pans out, displaying his solitude, imply that trouble is on the way.
