‘Wake Up Dead Man’ is written, directed and co-produced by Rian Johnson; it is touted to be Craig’s ‘most dangerous case yet’
The title of the third Knives Out film, featuring Daniel Craig as suave detective Benoit Blanc, has been revealed.

He then posted a 45-second video mentioning the first two titles and unveiling the third one. Daniel delivers a voiceover, saying, “In the beginning, the knives came out. Then the glass cracked. But my most perilous case ever is going to be revealed,” as the title Wake Up Dead Man appears on screen. While not much is known about the Netflix film, fans are already excited to see what Benoit has in store for them next. Netflix will distribute the picture as part of Rian’s two-feature arrangement with the company. Wake Up Dead Man will be released in 2025.

Rian teases Knives Out 3 title
On Friday, Rian teased followers about a major reveal by uploading a Pokemon egg with the caption ‘Oh?’ Fans were instantly alerted to the new announcement. The director is also working on a mystery series for Peacock called Poker Face, starring Natasha Lyonne, so fans were curious what he was going to announce.
He then wrote, “I love everything about whodunnits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is. There’s a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and getting to explore that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies,” adding, “We’re about to go into production on the 3rd one, and I’m very, very excited to share the title, which gives a little hint of where it’s going.”
